Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project teams from hand-off to close-out on commercial concrete and earthwork projects. You will help with planning, scheduling, reporting, and ensuring quality and regulatory compliance across field and office teams.

Travel to job sites is required, and you will maintain document control, track quantities, and support the PM team with startup and close-out activities while upholding our integrity and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings.
• Ability to manage several projects at once.
• Creative and results-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and self-motivation.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible style in working with all types of individuals

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs and field teams with project planning and scheduling.
• Maintain document control for Procore and other tools (RFIs, submittals, drawings).
• Track production quantities and escalate issues to PM.
• Manage bulletin revisions and communicate updates to PM team.
• Assist with project start-up and close-out processes.
• Handle correspondences with customers or vendors professionally.
