Job summary

Fessler & Bowman, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support project teams from initial hand‑off through close‑out on commercial concrete and civil earthwork projects.

You will assist with planning, scheduling, reporting, and project accounting while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with the Project Manager and field teams, maintain Procore-based document control, and help with startup and close‑out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand drawings.
• Able to manage several projects simultaneously.
• Strong urgency, results‑driven, and self-motivated.
• Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and flexible collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Field Teams with site visits, meetings, and day‑to‑day oversight.
• Maintain document control for Procore and other tools (RFIs, submittals, drawings, specs).
• Track production quantities and escalate issues to PM promptly.
• Manage bulletin revisions and communications to PM team; review and address revisions.
• Assist project startup and close-out processes.
