Headwaters Construction Company is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our operations team, supporting project managers, superintendents, subcontractors and design teams to ensure successful execution of commercial construction projects. The Project Engineer coordinates documentation, manages submittals and RFIs, supports scheduling, and facilitates clear communication between office and field.

The ideal candidate has a background in construction management or related field, with 1+

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering Technology, Business or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of commercial construction experience, including internships or entry-level coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings,Specifications and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with daily project coordination, documentation and administrative support.
• Manage and track submittals, shop drawings, product data and other project documentation.
• Maintain and distribute current project plans and related documents to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, architects, owners and suppliers.
• Support project scheduling, procurement tracking and material coordination.
• Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes and track action items.
• Provide project information and coordination support to Superintendents and field teams.
• Maintain project logs and assist with closeout documentation including warranties and manuals.
