Blach Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join our Southern California team. You will coordinate project documentation with the project team and assist the Project Manager to ensure quality, safety, schedule, and cost goals are met.

Collaborate with Architects, Subcontractors, Clients, and Inspectors to resolve issues in a timely manner and provide outstanding service to all stakeholders. You will support bid packages, submittals, safety orientations, and records management, while helping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Extreme attention to detail and highly organized.
• Proactive, takes initiative and is eager to learn and grow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project documentation with project teams to meet quality, safety, schedule, and cost goals.
• Collaborate with Architects, Consultants, Subcontractors, Clients, and Inspectors to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist Project Manager in managing project meetings, RFIs, pay applications, and document control.
• Support site logistics, permits, insurance, bonds, and safety orientations as required.
• Maintain project records, close-out documents, and as-built drawings with timely updates.
