Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a project engineer with 2+ years of commercial construction experience for projects in healthcare, higher education, technology, life sciences and commercial markets. You will support the project team, assist the superintendent and project manager, and manage schedules, cost control, and document control activities on-site in Denver.

The role requires organization, detail-orientation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of assigned project scopes with hands-on approach.

• Ability to identify and resolve construction problems.
• Capable of coordinating with designers, engineers and owners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain weekly safety audits and follow Environmental Health and Safety Plan.
• Understand and enforce contracts with DPR, subcontractors and owners.
• Assist superintendent and project manager in policy execution.
• Organize duties of engineers and project staff; provide direction and feedback.
• Prepare and update project schedules with the team to optimize milestones.
• Manage document control: daily reports, logs, RFI responses and change orders.
• Distribute drawings, submittals and project information to stakeholders.
• Prepare owner billing and review subcontractor invoices for payment.
