Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer/Construction Engineer to support successful delivery of construction projects in Austin, TX. You will collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure timelines and quality while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field and 0–4 years of experience. OSHA 30 preferred; completion within 6 months of hire is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, or related field.
0–4 years of construction engineering or related experience.
OSHA 30-hour Construction certification preferred; completion within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Assist in reviewing drawings, specs, and submittals to ensure accuracy and safety.
Coordinate with project managers and teams to resolve standard technical questions.
Monitor schedules and budgets and report variances for corrective actions.
Support implementation of QA and safety protocols across project phases.
Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and share best practices.
Participate in project meetings and communicate updates to team and stakeholders.
