Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to independently facilitate successful delivery of construction projects by applying technical expertise across activities, methodologies, and leading practices. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements, schedules, and quality standards.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field and 4-6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews moderately complex technical aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks, while maintaining consistent field presence to support safe execution of work.
• Coordinates with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve moderately complex technical challenges on projects, ensuring uninterrupted crew productivity and project progress.
• Reviews and provides feedback on construction drawings, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and alignment with project goals.
• Supports the implementation of project controls, including schedule tracking and cost monitoring, to support timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Prepares and presents progress reports, and technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, a related field, or equivalent experience

OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification
