The Project Engineer will support project delivery by coordinating schedules, costs, subcontracts, and general administration, with travel within the DMV area as needed. The ideal candidate holds an engineering, architecture, or construction mgmt degree and is proficient in reading drawings and MS Office, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline.
• Experience with a general contractor is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and project administration.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of the project plan with Project Manager(s).
• Coordinate purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals and ensure they meet plans/specs.
• Support scheduling and subcontractor detail schedules; monitor deliveries to align with the project schedule.
