Colonial Group is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Ashburn, VA operations, with travel or relocation support as needed. The role focuses on coordinating field teams, managing schedules, and ensuring QA/QC adherence. The position is safety-sensitive.

Salary range is $86,400 to $116,000 per year, plus a non-guaranteed annual bonus program. Candidates should have at least 2 years of construction project experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting or managing construction projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Prepare RFI's and submittals.
• Takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders.
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen.
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation.
• Support QA/QC measures per the program.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
