Salary range is $86,400 to $116,000 per year, plus a non-guaranteed annual bonus program. Candidates should have at least 2 years of construction project experience and strong communication skills.

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its Washington, DC operations based in Ashburn, VA. This role will be based in Ashburn, VA, with required travel or relocation to support specific project needs.

Job responsibilities include:

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Prepare RFI's and submittals
• Perform quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
• Assist in other duties as assigned

This position is safety-sensitive.

Salary range: $86,400 - 116,000 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

Basic Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years' experience supporting or managing construction projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to learn new skills by engaging in the technical job functions and applying new skills as they're learned
• Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
