Job summary

Findorff is seeking a Project Engineer Co-op in Wausau, WI for Spring/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027. You will gain hands-on experience across all construction phases, supporting project teams with RFIs, submittals, documentation, and team communications.

This entry-level role offers exposure to preconstruction, estimating, field operations, and project controls. You’ll work closely with engineers, superintendents, and trade partners to develop professional skills, using tools like Bluebeam and

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Comfortable using technology with strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assist with RFIs, submittals, document control, and project communication.
Take meeting minutes and support short-term planning with field staff and subcontractors.
Support preconstruction activities including quantity takeoffs and basic estimating.
Coordinate with Superintendents on material coordination and safety walks.
Learn and use project tools like Bluebeam and Procore on project documentation.
