Construction Project Engineer Associate

Location: Avon, CO

Position Type: Part time Seasonal Non-Exempt

This seasonal role runs through July 4, 2027.

About The Role

At Breckenridge Grand Vacations, we create Grand Vacations by Sharing Smiles with every Owner, Guest, and coworker. As our Construction Project Engineer Intern, you will be the boots-on-the-ground support for our Construction Management team, translating our commitment to building exceptional places into every document tracked, every site walk completed, and every detail coordinated. You will be the connector between the office and the field, ensuring our project teams have accurate information, organized records, and dependable support to keep active construction projects moving forward safely and efficiently.

This role is perfect for a current student or recent graduate who is equal parts eager learner, detail-oriented organizer, and proactive problem solver. You will gain hands‑on exposure to the entire construction project lifecycle, from document control and RFI tracking to field observations, safety walks, quality control, and project closeout, always working under the guidance of experienced Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents who are invested in your growth.

You will partner with your assigned mentor to ask questions, receive feedback, and build practical construction knowledge, while supporting the team wherever help is needed. If you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, are driven by curiosity and initiative, and find deep satisfaction in knowing you played a part in bringing a project to life, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field staff with day-to-day construction coordination and administrative tasks

  • Support project safety efforts by participating in safety walks, maintaining PPE or safety supply inventories, and reporting unsafe conditions
  • Attend project meetings, department meetings, trainings, safety meetings, and jobsite walks
  • Work closely with your assigned mentor to ask questions, receive feedback, and gain clarity on assignments
  • Assist with project closeout tasks such as punch list tracking, warranty documentation, turnover materials, as-built information, and closeout file organization
  • Take initiative to learn, ask questions, follow directions, and support the team wherever help is needed
