Job summary

Breckenridge Grand Vacations is seeking a Construction Project Engineer Associate in Avon, CO. This part-time seasonal non-exempt role offers hands-on support to the Construction Management team, translating plans into organized records and reliable field coordination.

You will learn the project lifecycle from document control to site observations under experienced PMs and engineers, gaining practical construction knowledge and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a college or university program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and interpret in English.
• Ability to read basic construction documents, instructions, schedules, meeting notes, safety information, and written correspondence.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and field staff with day-to-day construction coordination and administrative tasks.
• Maintain project documents, including current drawing sets, specifications, sketches, logs, and reports.
• Help distribute, file, and track design updates, RFIs, submittals, field reports, and other construction documents.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand construction requirements and coordination issues.
• Assist with tracking project schedules, look-ahead planning items, manpower needs, and material deliveries.
