Responsibilities span technical and administrative support, development of execution plans, procurement, and close collaboration with Project Managers and Directors across teams. Travel across Midwest projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• 3–8 years of experience in Engineering, Project Delivery, or related field.
• Experience with contracts, submittals, and client communication.

• Provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Directors.
• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communications among stakeholders.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews.
• Track project costs, prepare invoices, and report status.
• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables.
• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and cross‑department coordination.

Job Title: Project Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Project Engineer for an exciting 2-year project in Zeeland, MI, valued at $500 million. Due to a Non-Disclosure Agreement, specific details about the project owner will be shared during the interview process. This role offers a $5,000/month per diem, including two home rotations, and covers initial mobilization and demobilization costs. This is a salaried position with the opportunity for straight-time overtime pay.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors.


• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.


• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders.


• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.


• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance.


• Track project costs, prepare invoices, and report on project status.


• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages.


• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $46.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
