A leading company in cabinet manufacturing is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee installations, coordinate with teams, and ensure compliance with standards. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, along with a Bachelor's degree. This remote position involves significant travel across Texas and neighboring states, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.
A Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the installation of cabinets at various locations, ensuring that the work is done according to the specifications and standards of the clients and the company. A project engineer also coordinates with the installation team, the suppliers, the contractors and the customers to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of the cabinets. A project engineer must have excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of cabinet installation techniques and tools. A project engineer must also be able to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Remote position located in either Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas or Houston, Texas. Will have significant travel to Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Texas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
1. Planning and coordinating the site's schedule, budget, resources, and personnel
2. Communicating with stakeholders, such as clients, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and staff
3. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and legal standards
4. Solving problems and resolving conflicts that may arise on site
5. Monitoring and reporting on the site's progress and performance
6. Evaluating and improving the site's efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks
4. Knowledge of site operations and regulations
5. Experience with data collection and analysis tools
6. Problem-solving and decision-making skills
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
