Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in one of our Twin Cities or Mankato offices. We are looking to add a Construction Project Engineer who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Responsible for contract administration on intermediate and complex projects.
• Assist with estimating construction needs and workload for inspections, surveying, and material testing during proposal preparation (RFPs) and final design.
• Coordinate workload and staffing needs for inspections, surveying, and interns during construction.
• Perform quality control and assurance for project plans and specifications.
• Work with Project Managers through all phases of project development, including preliminary design, detailed design, and construction.
• Coordinate, conduct, and document preliminary design meetings with private utility companies.
• Review and prepare preliminary project construction sequencing, scheduling, and working days.
• Manage project schedules (bar chart or CPM) and project submittals.
• Perform constructability reviews of plans and specifications.
• Travel to work sites and other project-related locations as needed.

What We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
• At least five (5) years of progressive construction management or civil engineering experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer.
• Working knowledge of CAD plan production processes for managerial, supervisory, and QA/QC purposes.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $120,000 depending on experience and credentials.
