Qualifications

• Experience with job cost reporting for construction projects.
• Ability to analyze budgets vs actuals and forecast.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
• Knowledge of cost accounting and revenue recognition is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date job cost reports for active construction projects.
• Analyze project budgets, actual costs, and forecasts for accuracy.
• Issue job numbers and upload job budgets.
• Collaborate with project managers to report variances between budgeted and actual results.
• Assist with monthly job cost reports and financial statements.
• Process monthly project billings with complete supporting documentation.
• Prepare and invoice change orders with project managers.
• Apply cash receipts to customer accounts and reconcile retention balances.
• Conduct proactive collection efforts to resolve outstanding receivables.
• Input executed subcontract agreements and assist with payment applications.
• Reconcile cost data across systems for consistency and accuracy.
• Support development and implementation of cost control procedures.
• Provide audit support and prepare documentation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and construction standards.
