Job summary

Riley Construction is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Kenosha, WI and Waukegan, IL area. The role works closely with the Project Manager and sometimes the Project Engineer to organize project information and communications.

You will coordinate administrative tasks, enter data in Viewpoint, manage logs, and assist with submittals, RFIs, and billing. This position requires an AA/technical degree and 0–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• 0–2 years of experience coordinating multiple construction management projects.
• Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and Viewpoint preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates project administrative support.
• Enters in Viewpoint and issues subcontracts, change orders and purchase orders written by the PM; handles owner direct POs.
• Enters in Viewpoint or AIA and issues prime contract change orders written by PM.
• Creates and maintains Viewpoint logs (submittals, closeouts, punch lists) with PM help.
• Schedules and organizes meetings; records and issues meeting minutes.
• Manages on-site office setup and mobilization; closes down offices after project completion.
• Archives closed job files and supports other duties as assigned.
• Participates in the bidding process and supports subcontractor submittals, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Supports budget management: tracks invoices, field timecards, and price comparisons.
