Job summary

Rabren General Contractors is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager. This role collaborates with internal and external project teams to facilitate documentation and delivery requirements, ensuring effective communication and progress through administration and coordination.

The APM will assist with coordinating drawings, submittals, change orders and pricing approvals, and will help manage subcontractors and track monthly billings,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in building science, construction management, civil engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of commercial general contractor construction experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and maintenance of construction project management, including scheduling, planning and budgeting.
• Initiate, organize and attend project meetings; distribute agendas and minutes.
• Manage the RFI process; ensure logs and schedules are up to date.
• Assist coordination of drawings, submittals, change orders and related approvals.
• Assist in creating and managing subcontracts; monitor progress and payments.
• Support subcontractor management and maintain accurate documentation.
