M. J. Electric, LLC in the United States, Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Construction Project Coordinator who supports Project Management across safety, planning, scheduling, cost monitoring and billing.

This role focuses on delivering quality construction and maintaining project records, drawings, and client reporting. You will work with diverse on-site crews, manage change orders, bid development, and subcontractor activities, with regular travel to active projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in utility construction environment preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements
• Identify and report project status and issues to the PM promptly
• Provide ongoing communication about changes affecting costs, schedule, or scope
• Gather information to maintain project record drawings and As-Builts
• Provide technical support for construction planning
• Update and maintain construction schedule
• Interface with on-site crews ensuring safety, quality, and progress
• Participate in routine safety audits and housekeeping
• Ensure subcontractor activities align with contracts
• Prepare and submit submittals, safety plans, and weekly/status reports
• Travel regularly to project sites
