Job summary

Garney Construction in Florida is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and field operations on important construction and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement activities.
• Support jobsite operations and assist in managing subcontractor performance and compliance.
• Attend project meetings and document action items, key decisions, and next steps.
• Assist in the preparation and review of project reports, forecasts, and billing documentation.
• Communicate with internal teams, clients, vendors, and project partners to ensure project alignment.
• Conduct site visits to support field teams, verify progress, and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain organized project records and assist with contract compliance requirements.
• Monitor project risks and support safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
