Garney Construction in Tampa, FL seeks an Assistant Project Manager with progressive construction experience to join our field- and office-based team. You will support project coordination, review shop drawings, coordinate subcontractors, and help manage safety on site.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management, 4–7 years of experience, and willingness to travel.

• 4-7 years of construction experience.
• Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Process and review shop drawings.
• Work with the project scheduling system.
• Perform detailed drafting.
• Serve as owner and architect/engineer contact.
• Purchase materials.
• Survey the construction job site.
• Oversee job site safety.
• Track, audit, and project labor hours.
• Coordinate subcontractors.
• Complete daily and periodic report updates.
