Job summary

SSC Services for Education, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator for Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX. The role supports project invoicing, documentation, and drawing archives, coordinating with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure milestones are met.

The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, with at least 3 years of construction coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project coordination or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management principles.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accounting: project invoicing, project invoice reconciliation, AR/AP logs, monthly projections/actuals report, purchase orders requests, work orders, purchase orders/invoice reconciliation
• Documentation: prepare, manage, and distribute project documentation, including contracts, reports, and meeting minutes
• Communication: facilitate communication between project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other customers to ensure project achievements are met
• Monitoring and reporting: track project progress, identify potential issues and provide regular updates to project managers and customers. Record and distribute project managers' weekly meeting minutes. Record and distribute Customers' biweekly meeting reports and minutes. Create and distribute SSC weekly construction project reports. Obtain project pictures used in Customers' biweekly meetings
• Building drawing archive support: manage the electronic building archive drawings
• Manage all requests for building drawings from project managers, engineers, architects, and customers. Reorganize existing archive drawings from various locations to one location. Review archive paper drawings and confirm if the drawings have been digitized
