Job summary

Miles-McClellan Construction in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and project partners to help ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, and project management practices.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Experience with construction management software, including Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project coordination.
• Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and other construction documents.
• Assist with permits, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, engineers, and internal project teams.
• Help track project schedules, deliveries, material procurement, and project milestones.
