Job summary

The Claremont Colleges Services is seeking a Construction Development Project Specialist to support the Central Facilities and Construction Project Management Department in planning, coordinating, and executing capital improvement, maintenance, renovation, and construction projects on the Claremont Colleges campus.

Under the Construction Project Manager, you will handle project administration, document control, budget tracking, and procurement support, coordinating among consultants,

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Experience with project administration and contract documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and project coordination support to Facilities and Construction PMD.
• Maintain project files, contracts, drawings, reports, and budgets.
• Track procurement, invoices, change orders, and delivery documents.
• Coordinate plan room operations, archives, and document retention.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, closeout materials, and reporting.
• Prepare status updates and management-friendly dashboards.
