Job description

Well-established and growing structural steel subcontractor in North New Jersey is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with strong benefits and long-term career growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop conceptual budgets and project plans from drawings and specifications
• Perform field measurements for steel stairs, rails, gates, ladders, and miscellaneous metals
• Assist with oversight of steel subcontractors, engineering drawings, and construction contracts
• Create cost-effective erection plans and project schedules
• Review and develop structural steel shop drawings
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

What We’re Looking For:

• 0–5 years of construction experience
• Structural steel building experience is a strong plus
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specs
• Strong communication skills and leadership potential
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
