JOB DESCRIPTION

The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of paint and renovation projects by assisting project managers in scheduling, sourcing, and communication between clients, team members, and contractors. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver projects on time, within budget, and client satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
    1. Develop and manage project timelines to meet client deadlines.
    2. Coordinate daily directly with clients regarding scheduling for painting crews and subcontractors.
    3. Monitor project progress and assist with adjusting plans on the fly as needed.
  2. Communication and Client Relations:
    1. Serve as the secondary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle after project managers.
    2. Address client concerns promptly and provide regular project updates.
    3. Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
  3. Resource Management:
    1. Ensure proper allocation of labor, materials, and equipment for each project.
    2. Track inventory and order paint and supplies as needed.
    3. Help oversee the preparation of jobs on the office side.
    4. Source and share all material specs in singular folders for on-site job information for crews and trades.
    5. Share all specs with vendors to ensure preparedness prior to project commencement.
  4. Quality Control:
    1. Work alongside project managers to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations.
    2. Address quality issues and implement solutions to resolve them.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    1. Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, schedules, and budgets.
    2. Prepare reports summarizing project status (FPR’s), costs, and performance metrics.
    3. Assist in estimating costs where possible and the preparation of new projects.

REQUIREMENTS

  1. 2-4 years of experience in a project coordinator position or similar experience.
  2. Experience in the construction industry is a big plus.
  3. Bilingual (English-Spanish) is a big plus.
  4. Proficiency in Google Suite, especially Sheets.

SALARY RANGE

$55,000 - $60,000 yearly

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Willing to work on-site and commit to an 8:00 am-5:00 pm schedule.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work (hardly ever) may be required to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with other team members in an office environment.
