Rockford is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support commercial construction projects across Michigan and the Midwest. You will serve as the communication hub between project managers, field operations, clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring smooth information flow from preconstruction through closeout.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction project coordination or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, lifecycles, and contract docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in administration and execution from award to closeout.
• Coordinate startup activities, document setup, permits, and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain project files and correspondence per standards and procedures.
• Assist in developing schedules, action-item logs, and milestone tracking.
• Facilitate communication among owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
