Job summary

Mid-Ohio Pipeline seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support project managers and field operations with scheduling, reporting, documentation, and general administration.

You will assist with project setup, daily reporting, cost tracking, and closeout activities while coordinating between the office and field teams to keep projects on schedule. This role requires 2+ years in construction or pipeline environments and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years previous construction, utility, pipeline, industrial, or project coordination experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with scheduling software such as P6 Primavera is a plus.
• Familiarity with construction project documentation and reporting practices is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project scheduling, daily reporting, and document control.
• Support project setup, execution, and closeout activities.
• Maintain project files, contracts, permits, drawings, specifications, and client communications.
• Organize and distribute project documentation and meeting notes.
• Maintain action item logs and follow up on outstanding items.
• Coordinate communication between project managers, field staff, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
