Job summary

NexGen Contracting's Concrete Division in Louisville, KY is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join on-site with travel opportunities. This role focuses on cost control, scheduling, and project reporting.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in Business or Engineering and at least one year of jobsite construction experience, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and Primavera Scheduling Software.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an Associate’s degree in Business or Engineering and at least one year of jobsite construction experience.
• Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and e-mail applications. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Primavera Scheduling Software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost controls on a project.
• Monitor, evaluate and update project cost data on budgeted amounts.
• Generate project progress charts and cost reports.
• Support forecast of time and cost problems by offering trending information.
• Develop and execute measurement systems to process, analyze and identify improvements.
• Develop and update resource loaded construction schedules.
• Verify scope changes and estimate costs by using contract terms.
