Loenbro, LLC seeks a Project Controls Manager in Cedar Rapids, IA to support cost tracking, reporting and financial controls on large construction projects. The role reports to the Regional Planning & Controls Director and requires detail-oriented, analytical skills in fast-paced environments across industries such as mission-critical, oil & gas, fabrication, and industrial services.

Qualifications

• Experience in project cost control, accounting, or project coordination in construction/industrial environments.
• Proficiency with Vista/Viewpoint or similar ERP systems.
• Proficient in cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong Excel/Office Suite skills.
• Knowledge of Earned Value management and KPI best practices.
• Experience with Change Order Management.

Responsibilities

• Track and code project costs; input data in company systems.
• Maintain accurate cost reports, forecasts, and budgets.
• Input/validate financial data in Vista and related systems.
• Generate productivity and LEI reports; identify trends and discrepancies.
• Support project billing, invoice tracking, and cost reconciliation.
• Monitor budgets vs. actuals; flag variances.
• Assist with change order tracking and documentation.
• Prepare weekly/monthly project reports for internal and client use.
• Coordinate with project teams to gather cost, labor, and production data.
• Assist with project closeout, cost reconciliation, and final reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with processes; assist with internal audits.
