Job summary

Valcourt is seeking a Project Controls Analyst for the Waterproofing Division in Millstone Township, NJ. The role will manage project controls from inception to closeout, interfacing with sales, estimating, and PMs to ensure accurate reporting and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include applying earned value management, developing setup plans, managing changes, and supporting multiple projects with regular KPI reviews. Travel and site visits are expected part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of construction site experience is preferred.
• Understanding contracts, standard commercial terms and change orders is a plus.
• Strong understanding of construction project management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Fieldwire or similar tools.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to mentor project teams and drive adoption of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Interface with sales, estimating and operations to understand as-sold estimates.
• Support project managers and review performance using earned value management elements.
• Drive consistency in project controls and risk toll gates within the region.
• Develop a comprehensive project setup plan aligned with the execution plan.
• Apply change management rigor for scope, schedule, and budget deviations.
• Manage multiple projects across locations with multiple PMs.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly project documentation including EAC calculations.
• Support monthly business reviews and WIP cost reporting.
• Create KPI graphs illustrating key metrics vs as-sold elements.
