Job summary

Callahan Construction Managers, based in Bridgewater MA with White Plains, NY offices, is seeking a Project Controller (Construction) to join our accounting team in White Plains. The role partners with project executives and managers to manage all facets of project accounting, costing and related administration.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance with 5+ years construction accounting experience and CCIP/OCIP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of construction accounting experience.
• Experience with CCIP/OCIP project administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and approving subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices.
• Assisting project team in preparation of the monthly owner requisitions.
• Managing subcontractor compliance with contract terms (waivers, bonds, billing).
• Assisting project management in the monthly forecast and validation of fee and percent complete.
• Processing subcontractor and owner change orders in Spectrum.
• Processing labor and AP job cost transfers.
• Monitoring project cash position and completing monthly cash position analysis.
• Preparing project cash forecasts.
• Assisting the Controller.
• Other related duties as needed/assigned.
