Job summary

Balfour Beatty US in Tampa, FL is seeking a Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in all administrative and technical requirements for construction projects.

You will assist with contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, project financial setup, and scheduling to help deliver quality, profitable, safe, and timely outcomes, while focusing on meeting customer needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 4–6 years in construction office or field as Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager.
• 1 year direct supervisory experience.
• Experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline).
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, and labor reports.
• JD Edwards or similar construction applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with contract administration, change orders, submittals, and procurement.
• Support project financial setup, updates, and cost tracking.
• Support scheduling to ensure timely, quality, profitable delivery.
