Job summary

The Bachrach Group is recruiting on behalf of a privately held contractor in Fairfield County, CT for a Construction Accounting Manager to own the contractor-side accounting cycle and work directly with the Controller.

You will manage WIP schedules, oversee job costing, progress billing, month-end close, and oversee accounts payable and payroll staff, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. This is a direct-hire, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• Construction or contractor accounting experience with real ownership of the WIP schedule and job cost detail.
• Comfort with percentage-of-completion revenue and over/under billings.
• Experience on a construction ERP (Viewpoint, Sage 300 CRE, Foundation, CMiC, Spectrum or similar).
• Someone who wants to keep growing.
