Job summary
Tech Electronics in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior Accountant – Projects to manage financials for construction projects from setup to closeout.
You will align with Project Managers, Operations, Sales, and leadership to ensure accurate reporting, timely invoicing, and compliant accounting practices. The ideal candidate has construction accounting experience, including job costing, WIP analysis, progress billing, retainage, and revenue recognition, with GAAP knowledge and ERP system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Masters in Accounting, MBA, CPA a plus.
- 3–5+ years accounting experience with construction accounting preferred.
- 2+ years construction/project accounting experience.
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial records for assigned construction projects.
- Monitor project costs, revenue, profitability, and budget performance.
- Prepare progress billings, change orders, and retainage tracking.
