Job summary

Oline Construction in Omaha, NE is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to lead day-to-day project accounting from setup through closeout. You will partner with the Controller, Project Managers, and operations to ensure accurate financials, timely billing, and up-to-date job costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in construction.
• Direct project accounting experience required.
• Knowledge of job-cost accounting, owner billing, retainage & change orders.
• CMiC experience strongly preferred.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting from setup through closeout.
• Prepare and review owner billings, including AIA-style pay apps, retainage, change orders, lien waivers, and supporting docs.
• Manage subcontractor pay apps and payment documentation.
• Reconcile owner/subcontractor billings, job costs, commitments, and GL activity.
• Monitor budgets, costs, commitments, change orders, and billing status.
• Partner with PMs to review financials and resolve billing/cost questions.
• Assist with monthly WIP reporting and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close and project setup/closeout activities.
