Job summary

CFS, a Watertown-based construction accounting firm, is seeking a Project Accountant to join onsite. The role involves managing project billing, invoicing, and reconciliations across multiple construction projects, while maintaining budgets, job costing, and monthly projections.

You will coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and owners for billing approvals and documentation, review invoices, monitor project expenses, and support month-end reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience; project or construction accounting preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage complex spreadsheets.
• Familiarity with project billing, job costing, AIA billing, and construction accounting processes.
• Experience with Sage, Procore, or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billing, invoicing, and financial reconciliations across multiple construction projects.
