Kforce Inc. is seeking a Construction Project Accountant for a Hartford, CT area client. You will perform month-end closing, job costing, WIP, and profitability reporting to support the executive team.

The role requires 2+ years in construction accounting, experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) or Deltek, and a hybrid schedule. Comprehensive benefits accompany the position, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience within the Construction/Engineering/Architectural industry
• Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline) or Deltek Software
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule

Responsabilités

• Perform Month End Closing, Job Costing, Work in Progress, and profitability reports
• Prepare day-to-day accounting records for the Executive team
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
• Prepare year end data and journal entries for tax compliance
• Assist with supporting documentation for the CPA firm
