Juneau Construction Company is seeking a Project Accountant to join our Atlanta-based finance team. This role supports construction projects from startup through closeout, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and auditing while serving as the liaison between the field project teams and the finance department.

The position emphasizes timely invoicing, cost audits, and adherence to lien laws and company standards.

Qualifications

• College degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred.
• Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Administrative and Construction Industry Experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist in project setup and closeout.
• Collect and submit project invoices and pay applications; ensure timely approval of costs.
• Coordinate with project teams to validate work and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Collect, track, and index payment documents; ensure lien law compliance and company policies.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve billing issues.
• Generate and process owner billings per contractual terms.
• Communicate billing inquiries with project owners.
• Conduct monthly project cost audits for budget adherence.
• Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Support project management for timely project closeout.
