Job summary

Hillwood Construction Services seeks a Project Accountant in Dallas, TX to support corporate and project financials under the Controller. You will apply GAAP and collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and reporting.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in construction accounting, detail-oriented mindset, and strong communication. Experience with Procore/JD Edwards is a plus; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Required degree in accounting or related field.
• 2–5 years in construction/project accounting preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems (JD Edwards/Procore is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly management reports for senior leadership.
• Support external and project audits with schedules and documentation.
• Reconcile job cost data between Procore and ERP monthly.
• Process and approve contracts and change orders in Procore.
