The role requires strong analytical skills, construction accounting experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment while ensuring vendor compliance and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project accounting or construction accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and project financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage project billings and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Perform budget-to-actual analysis and monitor project costs.
• Track job profitability and prepare project performance reports.
• Manage vendor compliance, insurance documentation, lien waivers, and W-9s.
• Maintain accurate project accounting records and reporting data.
• Support Project Managers with financial analysis and project status updates.
• Identify and resolve project-related accounting issues in a timely manner.
