Job summary

Pepper Construction Group LLC is seeking a Billing Specialist to prepare owner billings in line with contractual terms and ensure costs are processed per internal controls. The role involves coordinating with project teams and managing subcontractor payments to support timely cash flow.

The candidate will review contracts, analyze job costs, and help close out projects while maintaining compliance with insurance and payroll reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 2 years accounting related experience preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contracts and identify billing terms.
• Analyze and process job costs per internal controls.
• Coordinate billing with project team and reconcile costs monthly.
• Provide timely payments to subcontractors in exchange for waivers.
• Review and compile waiver packages.
• Facilitate job closeout and reconcile profit/loss.
• Understand subcontractor insurance compliance.
• Prepare monthly subcontractor certified payroll reports as needed.
