Job summary

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience in the construction industry with a commercial or industrial general contractor.
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple projects, subcontractors, and vendors simultaneously.
• Proficient in producing detailed fixed price estimates; ability to use RS Means or other published unit price books.
• Possess effective negotiating skills.
• Resource Management; to include operations support staff, vendors, subcontractors, and time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; adaptable to evolving tech/methods including MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Creates and manages budgets; communicates with all team members including subcontractors and clients; coordinates closeout and as-built documentation.
• Estimating: Prepares estimates from specs, SOW, drawings; enters line items into unit price books.
• Subcontractor Management: Solicits proposals from multiple vendors; negotiates subcontractor agreements; tracks buyout and site visits.
• Scheduling: Develops and maintains project schedules with superintendents.
• Business Development: Engages with customers to discuss needs and framework agreements to grow business.
• Safety: Ensures compliance with HSEQ and OSHA guidelines; travel between job sites as needed.
