Job summary

Lvi-Associates in Greater New Orleans, LA is seeking a Construction Program Manager to lead delivery of large-scale municipal water and wastewater infrastructure capital programs. This senior role coordinates multidisciplinary teams and serves as a trusted advisor to public-sector clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience managing water/wastewater infrastructure projects, capital improvement programs, or large public works projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and construction management.
  • Experience with wastewater treatment facilities, water treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, force mains, collection systems, and utility infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and project partners.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while overseeing project managers, consultants, contractors, and construction management teams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients, utility authorities, and key project stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain program budgets, schedules, forecasts, and risk management plans.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and project updates to clients and senior leadership.
  • Oversee procurement strategies, contract administration, change management, and construction execution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster collaboration among engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Drive successful delivery of critical water and wastewater infrastructure projects while maintaining client satisfaction and project performance.
