Job summary

Harmon, Inc. offers a Summer Internship Program for a Construction Project Management Intern. You will gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects, learning the construction process from planning through completion while working with experienced project managers and field leaders.

This internship emphasizes organization, communication, and real-world exposure to schedules, documentation, and project meetings across multiple locations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred; cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Ability to work full-time during the summer internship period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project files, folders, and documentation for construction projects.
• Support schedule updates and track milestones across projects.
• Develop and manage project correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners.
• Review project documents including shop drawings, transmittals, and change orders.
• Monitor schedules and assist with critical path updates based on progress.
• Assist with progress payments, change orders, and extra work orders.
• Help develop and track project punch lists and action items.
• Participate in project team and progress meetings and record notes.
• Maintain project logs and organize paperwork; assist with inspections and drawings.
