Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Facilities Infrastructure responsible for planning and executing new facility construction and renovation projects at our Launch Sites in Florida. You will work with facility engineers, designers, vendors and internal customers to deliver on-time, within budget facilities for production, office and fabrication spaces.

The role involves full lifecycle management from scoping to closeout, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in architecture, construction management, or an engineering discipline
• 2+ years of professional experience in architecture, engineering, construction management and/or facilities management
• Proficiency with project management tools and MS Office
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs

Responsibilities

• Manage facilities projects including construction and maintenance operations
• Coordinate with vendors to meet SpaceX standards and codes
• Facilitate city/county/government approvals
• Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and RFP docs
• Gather proposals and assign contracts; manage cost/schedule/scope
• Ensure safe, on-time, under-budget delivery; maintain records
