Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction PM/Estimator in Georgia. The role focuses on leading and delivering accurate estimates, bid proposals, and take-offs across multiple projects.

Strong organizational and analytical skills are essential to coordinate site visits, meetings, and client relations. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 3 years in commercial construction estimating; proficiency with Excel/Word/Outlook and On-Screen Takeoff is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and years of experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator.
• Proficient in providing estimates and estimating services.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook; On-Screen Takeoff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage multiple projects.
• Review, create and submit quality estimates with detailed proposals.
• Prepare high level quantity and manpower take-offs.
• Prospect and procure new opportunities for bid.
• Analyze plans, specifications and documentation to prepare bid estimates.
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs and coordination meetings.
• Maintain a professional relationship with clients, subcontractors and peers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Lead Construction Estimator or Pre Construction Manager

Should have some of the following...

• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects is required
• Review, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposals
• Prepare high level quantity and manpower take-offs
• Prospect and procure new opportunities for bid
• Comprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects
• Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings
• Must maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Desire and determination to succeed
• Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and years of experience
• The ability to proficiently provide estimates & estimating services
• Experience with conceptual and schematic design budgeting
• Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff preferred
• Knowledge of construction processes and terminology
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Excellent math skills
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Ability to fully understand plans and specifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator
