J. Benton Construction, LLC offers a Spring 2027 Project Management Co-op in the U.S. Virgin Islands to gain hands-on experience supporting active construction projects.

You will work with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents while developing real-world skills in construction project management, field coordination, and project documentation. Qualifications

• Rising Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (required).
• Strong preference for Civil Engineering or construction-related disciplines.
• Demonstrated interest in construction management and the construction industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Effective time-management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Previous internship in the construction industry strongly preferred.
• Previous work experience in the U.S. construction industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents on assigned projects.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability as a collaborative team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Process submittals and gather/distribute information; manage project documentation within budget and schedule requirements.
• Attend project meetings and record meeting minutes.
• Assist with tracking and inspection of material deliveries.
• Perform other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the project team.
