Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Co-op to join our team of experts. You will support Project Managers with estimating, scheduling, design meetings, buyout, permitting, submittal review, and billing to ensure projects run smoothly.

This 6–8 month full-time internship offers a housing stipend, ESOP eligibility, an end-of-term bonus based on merit, and a clear path to a full-time position after graduation, with opportunities to travel to job

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Civil/Mechanical/Architectural or Construction Management Bachelor’s degree program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Internship or Co-op construction experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Estimating – describing project proposals and assigning dollar values.
• Scheduling – creating a working timeline for subcontractors to complete the project on time.
• Design meetings – attend meetings with owner and team to understand proposals.
• Buyout – send bid instructions, schedule and drawings to subcontractors; evaluate proposals.
• Permitting – complete permit forms and submit with drawings and fees.
• Shop drawing and submittal review – coordinate with PM and subcontractors.
• Billing – manage subcontracts, change orders, pay requests and applications.
• Job site visits – accompany PM to ensure project runs smoothly.
